Vegas Vacation

I thought I'd steal the neighbors wireless long enough to post about my weekend in Vegas. I can't believe it's been 2 weeks already since we got back! We left Wednesday afternoon from Richmond airport and flew to Atlanta. We were very lucky because our flight got delayed but we managed to get on an earlier flight. Atlanta is such a huge airport. That's the second time this year I've had to spend time there. From Atlanta it was onto Vegas! We got there pretty late and only stayed up long enough to lose some quarters in the slot machines. We stayed at the New Frontier, which anyone can tell you, there's little new about it. It's definately a haven for Jewish grandmothers and Latino highrollers, but I liked the atmosphere there. The room looks nothing like their ad! The toilet was partially backed up which made urinary relief a challenge. I did enjoy the water pressure from the shower though! It was like being attacked by a mini fire hose. We spent early Thursd

Frank Caliendo - Impressions

I know, I've been away for a while now. Janine and I are getting out phone/DSL set up and when that's done, I'll be back. While I'm gone, I figured I'd leave everyone with some laughs. God knows after the day I had, I needed to laugh. Peace my friends. I shall return bigger and better than ever.

Without a Trace

No, I'm not going to talk about a show on CBS I never really got into, but I am still around. I just don't have phone service at the new house yet and I'm going to Vegas tomorrow. I'm going to have such a blast! So I'll be updating things on Sunday when I get back, phone permitting. Vegas!!

"It's deja vu all over again." "No wonder nobody comes here; it's too crowded." "We have very deep depth!" "We made too many wrong mistakes." "You can observe a lot by just watching."

I log onto myspace today and there's a bulletin about Steve Irwin passing away. He's better known as the Crocodile Hunter. He was killed on a dive by a stingray barb. I used to joke and say his line of work was going to get him killed, I feel that's in very bad taste now. I'm kinda stunned. He was a very nice guy and he really cared for animals. Irwin was the director of the Queensland Zoo and his passion was protecting wildlife and their habitats. My heart goes out to his wife and 2 children. Sad day.. article
