The Lewis Show

It's amazing how long it takes to update a computer after a year of not having broadband. I got home and updated Linux which is still working beautifully (I just have to find a better update server). I then created Kelly's header. He has been giving me shit about it for about a month now. Well Kelly, you know what you can do with your damn header! (like use it, on your blog?) I'm debating pizza for dinner. I have food, Janine and I ate out last night, and I've been good lately. I just don't feel like cooking at all. I'm freaking exhausted. Work has been stressful to say the least. It's never a pretty sight when I do or not do something and it sends my clients into a rabid frenzy! I'm also hating Janine's schedule! She works every weekend and closes the days she's working. I don't get to spend any quality time with her. I'm hoping that gets fixed soon in some way shape or form. Yeah, October is trying to sneak past me. I still don't have web access, so I thought I'd just drop another quick line and another quick review of my past few weeks. Last night Janine and I went to Cafe Diem which is in the VCU area to see some local acts and enjoy a beer. I had a good time. It's always a blast to hang out with Darrell and Tracy! The rest of the month has been quiet. I've been focused on getting the house in good shape and work has kept me busy enough to where I just come home and veg out. I've put my fall concert schedule on the blog. November 22nd, Bobaflex is coming to The Canal Club. They are a really cool band and I can't wait to see 'em. And on December 5th, In Flames will be at the NorVa with Lacuna Coil. I really hope Janine can get that night off so we can go. She really has to see In Flames live. This year has gone by so fast. There have been so many changes not only with the season changing but with my life in general. Janine and I have been in transition this entire month. I'm still unpacking..slowly, but surely. We've gotten the utilities and services mostly swiched over. The only thing left is to get the phone and DSL on. Onc that's done, I'll be on to blog more, and to restart my radio broadcast. There's still a long way to go with the house. We have to put things away, get things together, and get things organized. The three cats keep us both busy...they're going to eat us into the poorhouse. They eat...and eat..and eat. Work is going well. This week I take 2 big steps towards getting my license. I'm ready...I'm so ready to have my license and my freedom. I've been nothing but a burden to my friends this year and I'm at the point where saying thank you just dosen't feel like enough.
