Next Weekend

Image
Janine and I both really need a break from work, and something to do that involves us getting the hell out of Richmond. So we are going to Maryland next weekend to visit my brother. He lives in Aberdeen, Maryland. I looked it up this morning. No, it's no party mecca, in fact I can see why my brother likes it there so much. It's really close to Baltimore and to Pennsylvania and New York, so he's close enough to the action if he wants to be, but with his 2 year old son, it's really a great place to start a family. So kudos, Dave, you did an awesome job planning things out. I really look forward to seeing him and Barbie, and Kaleb again! I got to see them briefly a few weeks ago, and the poor child looks just like my brother. I tease, he is going to be tall though, and after just turning two, he's already reading and counting and has full conversations. He's got my brother's spikey haircut too. He's adorable. I'll take lots and lots of pics! Then we a

Oh Snap!

So I'm minding my own business, getting caught up on music news on Blabbermouth when I see that Rage Against the Machine is going to reunite for The Coachella Music and Arts Festival . My reaction, oh snap! This was by far one of the most talented and intense bands to come out of the 90's on the rock/metal scene. I was fortunate enough to see them when they toured with the Wu-Tang Clan about 10 years ago. That was some crazy shit. There was a near riot, and I was having the time of my life. I never thought I could look back and say that I was in a near riot and had a blast, but I did. Good news, good news. I hope they can go on tour again. Their politics is completely whacked out socialism, but I can never knock someone for being so extremly passionate about their world and their world view. Plus they kick a lot of tail! Get nostalgic with me and watch some of their great videos. Yay for Rage! Adblock

Here I go only posting once a week again. It's not because of lack of content, it's been because of lack of desire to put in content. I want to go over recent events and pretty much put down the goals that I have for this year. I don't believe in New Year resolutions, because I always doom myself to failure. Janine and I have pretty much been on the dl the past couple weeks. We are working on season 3 of Oz and then we are going to get started on 24. I'm hoping to get caught up on both of those all during the course of this year. There really hasn't been any movies out lately that I care to go see or rent, so why not TV that I missed over the past four years? I am still watching House and CSI. I do like the new charactor on CSI/Vegas, but I'm wondering how he's going to fit into things. House of course is knee deep in shit and I don't see how he'll ever get away from that asshole cop. There isn't a whole lot going on locally at the local v

It's Time for Me to get a Cell Phone!

HOLY SHIT!!!!!! I thought I was done blogging for the night, but at work today, someone sent me a link to the new iPhone. This is a beautiful piece of machinery! Yeah, it's a cell phone, but it will pretty much integrate everything. Check out more pictures and details on the digg article in my sidebar and by checking out the Apple website linked into the title. Janine was just asking me why Apple has not created a cell phone yet. I need to go change my underpants. Good night!

Here's a rundown of what I've been doing over the past several days: P layed with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, pla yed with my iPo d, played with my iPod, played with my iPod, and played with my iPod. I know, I've been slacking on the blogging, I've slacked on my radio station. I suck. The station is back on the air again, so please tune in, metalheads. I'm obviously updating the blog now, so that takes care of two birds with one big, smooth, stone. New Year's came and went pretty quick. Janine and I hopped in the PT Cruiser and rode to Easton, Maryland to party with her friends. I had such a good time with them. I can see w hy Janine is so close to them. They're all so laid back and fun and genuine people. We all got pretty tipsy
