I'm playing fantasy NASCAR with Kelly and his friends so I just wanted to take a second to say: Go Team Ugly!

That Time of Year...again

I think I have my body trained to catch that one big cold this time every year. For as long as I can remember, I've come down with some various strand of ass kicking Asian cold virus. I made it through work Wednesday being utterly miserable but it only got worse Thursday and then even worse than that on Friday. I'm feeling pretty icky still today, but I feel semi functional. The good news is that it's just a cold, it's not the flu. I got the flu last 2 years ago and I thought I was literally going to die. I'm glad Tylenol works so well on me. I don't know if it's a placebo effect or not, but it fights the symptoms well enough. I had a good time last Saturday night. We celebrated Krump's birthday at WonderLand. Tis the season for birthdays. It seems that a lot of people were born this time of year and between October and November. Even my own birthday is coming up in a couple weeks. I'll be....33...... Fuck. That. I'm old. I don't feel old tho

Random Returns

I do this now and again..instead of something with any kind of format..I just get random! I have a new found respect for Joe Rogan. The Dark Knight, which comes out next year will feature both The Joker and Two Face. I can't wait for that to hit theaters! I'm playing fantasy NASCAR for the first time with Kelly and his friends. If I were to lose, I might be embarrased, but that won't happen. Go Biffle! I don't know what plans they have for the Daytona 500 tomorrow, but more than likely, Miss Clairol 2006/2007 and I will be there. Matt from Gojira-X is celebrating a birthday. Janine and I will be there to celebrate tonight. Salud! We are 2 seasons away from finishing Oz. That show just got more and more brutal towards the end didn't it? Did I mention Tool will be playing in Richmond on April 15th? I'm sure I might have said something to that effect. I'm not sure who's opening for them yet, but so far this year bands like Isis and Mastodon have opened for

Yo soy Miguel. I figured I'd recap some of the going's on around here over the past week. Don't worry, it's painless, but I have pictures! Last weekend, Janine and I took 3 days to go to Maryland, DC, and back home in time for some local commitments. I had a good time. Driving through DC is no picnic at all, but overall the trip was worth it all. We left pretty early Friday and headed to Aberdeen, Maryland to visit my brother. It's my first time up there and damn the boy lives very, very far away. He's basically on the Pennsylvania border and he works in DC. He drives 2 hours to and from work every day. Insane! We got there in time for a late lunch/early dinner. Barbie made meatball subs, green beans, and corn on the cob. It was very yummy. We then hung out for a little bit and decided to watch Cars. Kaleb loves that movie, and neither Janine and I had seen it, so it was worth it. I was so happy that I got to spend some time with my nephew. He looks so much like

Have you....?
