Silly Mike

Here I go only posting once a week again. It's not because of lack of content, it's been because of lack of desire to put in content. I want to go over recent events and pretty much put down the goals that I have for this year. I don't believe in New Year resolutions, because I always doom myself to failure.

Janine and I have pretty much been on the dl the past couple weeks. We are working on season 3 of Oz and then we are going to get started on 24. I'm hoping to get caught up on both of those all during the course of this year. There really hasn't been any movies out lately that I care to go see or rent, so why not TV that I missed over the past four years?

I am still watching House and CSI. I do like the new charactor on CSI/Vegas, but I'm wondering how he's going to fit into things. House of course is knee deep in shit and I don't see how he'll ever get away from that asshole cop.

There isn't a whole lot going on locally at the local venues. There are some good bands coming into town though. Bands like Converge, Agnostic Front, Unearth, Poison the Well, The Acaicia Strain, and the regular local acts. The Lucha Libre is back in February and I'm sure Janine and I will go check that out. Norfolk has more going on with Mastadon and Lamb of God,Trivium, Gojira, and MachineHead coming in March.

We have worked out some early vacation time as well. The first weekend in February we are going to DC to check out the sites there and go to Baltimore to visit my brother and then to Annapolis to hang out with Janine's friends again. That should be a lot of fun. The big plan is for Vegas in the fall. I have already checked out resort and flight and we are going to be sitting pretty if we can both get things paid for and not spend over 800. It can be done!

As far as the Lewis Show goes. The blog will never die, but I am planning on purchasing this domain and setting up a huge cafeteria style website. I'll have the blog, of course, but I'll have my radio content on the front page for anyone to tune in on the fly, a moblog which will show pictures of us as they happen, and of course the Lewis Show podcast which will be very exciting. I just need to buy some equipment to make that happen. But it will happen, and it will be a lot of fun.
