It has been a busy couple of days but I've gotten to eat at two of the finest restaurants in Richmond! Last night after work, we all got together at Franco's Italian Ristorante to have dinner with some guest speakers at our symposium. That was a very enjoyable evening. I got to meet one of my biggest producers, and got a few stories from my boss on Kelly. I'm sure there will be a time when I can share those stories! I had the penne alla vodka, and it was very good, I highly recommend it. The food was wonderful. There's something about eating at a fancy restaurant, something about eating food that requires different utensils, something about a dimly lit room and lots of Chardonnay. Tonight, to honor my first year with Janine, I made reservations at The Tobacco Company in downtown Richmond. I'm sure many people figured out from my hint the location. A Second Wish For The Modern Web Community

I've found I have many wishes for my friends. A few months ago, I pleaded with people to attempt to write more. I have found that it is a great outlet of feelings by not only helping one get acquainted with those feelings, but it allows them to elaborate and build on their beliefs. The goal is self betterment. I know we are probably the most selfish generation in the history of humanity, but I think that energy can be better utilized. It's not a shallow exploit to find out who you are, it's a selfish venture to spend a considerable amount of time trying to paint a facade for others. Having a better outlet is the second step. Understanding what we consume is the most important prerequisite to self awareness. We need to fix the point of intake to create a better outlet. We live in an obnoxious 24 hour news cycle.
