I am in such a good fuggin' mood right now. Let's just rant about things..it's just gonna flow. Get your towels. I'm officially past my probation period at work! I got a raise and I feel like I really fit in at work now. I really enjoy my job! I got groceries tonight. This weekend I'm going to clean the fridge out, do laundry, do some more c leaning, a nd finish reading The Half Blood Prince. Speaking of Potter. I have enjoyed reading those books. I'm glad The Skank That Shall Not Be Named left them here. They are worth picki ng up, if you haven't already. Some funny pics that Jessi found over the last weekend over here. Once this stress over my court date Tuesday has passed, it's on to focus on the next show. I'm hoping I come out of this funk in time to enjoy it. May 6, Saint Diablo will be playing with Unhinge!!!!!!, Fallen Under and Behelmod. This will be a celebration of sorts for St. D's CD release, Republica. The songs they've played so far are crazy, and if you're at any local record store, you have to pick it up. You can also get it at their site lickety split! I also can't wait to see Unhinge again. I did a backflip when I found out they were getting back together. I'm chomping at the bit for this show. I know that it's going to be a lot of fun. Did I mention that I can't wait? Did I mention Saint Diablo gave The Wrecking Crew a mention in their new CD?

Saturday morning, Jessi and I loafed around the apartment and slowly made our way through the rain windshield wiper free to the Chilli Cook Off. We got there in time to see 3/4's of the Faktion set. We completely missed Fail-Safe, but I figured we'll catch them again at some point this summer, since they are local and not my choice of band that should have opened the event. Faktion was OK. They're going to get their asses run into the ground by Roadrunner this year though playing every state fair and local event they can possibly tolerate. I'm sure by next year they'll be touring with the likes of Hoobastank or Fall Out Boy. Hooray for them. Nonpoint was up next. They pretty much were the whole reason I wanted to go to the cook off. I loved it a lot! They probably should have headlined the event, but it was good they got in so early while everyone was still mostly sober. They've made it a long way. I wish I could take credit for this, alas, I cannot. But I like this a lot! I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart. FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me." I said "WHAT??!! What was that?!" So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear... "You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man."
