Finally, a Weekend

It may not seem like much of a weekend to most, but considering my weekends the past month consisted of watching TV and sitting on the computer, this was pretty eventful. Here's the rundown.
  • Friday night Kat and I went to Friday's for supper. That was tasty. I realized when I suggested it that it's been the only sit down resturant we've eaten at since moving to Richmond. I have to think of other places to eat. The food and the company was very good, but then we went to Target. Taking my wife to most stores I would think by now to be prepared for a marathon. I wasn't prepared. I did have a good time though, and thinking back I'm very happy I got out of the apartment.
  • Saturday around 2PM ish Jessi came over to visit. Yay! It was good to have my bestest buddy up to hang out. I don't get to spend a lot of dedicated time with her like I used to. We haven't really missed a beat since we moved, we do talk every Tuesday and Thursday nights, so we basically just..recapped our lives.
  • Saturday night, Jessi and I went to pick up Kat from work, had some supper (I had Chinese, Jessi had Japanese) and we went to see the new Harry Potter movie. I have to admit I was blown away by the effects. The story seemed a bit choppy, but considering the book is about 3000 pages, it looks like they got all the good stuff into the movie. I recommend going out to see it. I'm sure Kat's gonna want to go again soon.
  • Sunday morning, we hung out, had breakfast, played some poker..pretty much stayed in. Jessi just left a few minutes ago, Kat is off at work, and I'm back to my usual routine.

So I had a much better weekend than I've been having. This week coming up should prove to be interesting. Thanksgiving is coming up, we'll be going to Lynchburg to see everyone who isn't going to see their families and hang out there. Then...that dreaded Christmas season starts. Soon I'll be sure to post my annual wishlist. Get out your checkbooks and be ready to buy me some really expensive toys.
