If Men Wrote to Abby

Dear Abby, I've never written to you before, but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision. I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs... phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know them." I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive. Al though I can hear a car driving off, as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi? I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her. Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to real...

I Did It!!

I was able to stop time for a split second! Ok, I can't stop time, but I can drive now. I'm so excited! The drive home was so much fun. I don't think I've ever had so much fun driving down the interstate and yelling MOVE to the people who were clogging up the fast lane. Ye haw! I'm driving! So here I sit. I'm going to help Janine's brother bring back some things that Janine got from her grandmother then wait for her to get off work. Then we're going to Outback to celebrate. Now my baby can sleep in and I can drive myself in. Now I don't have to rely on Leslie who was gettng more and more aggrivated to take me home. Now Kelly can go around the office to get everyone's food order and take a nap while I go get it. Ok, maybe no naps, Kelly, but you can stay and answer the phones. Or even better. Come with me and listen to Mushroomhead and Lamb of God with me, har har! I'm so happy!

Uber Wishlist

I put the link in the title, but I'm not the only person who can amass a huge geek wishlist. Some of these things are really corny, but the geek in me can never be too fascinated with things like an LED name badge. I pulled this off of Chris Pirillo's blog, and it's always a good read.

So Nervous

I'm kinda shaking. My Dad's on his way to get me. Tomorrow morning, I'll be getting up at the crack of dawn to get my license back. Dad's also going to sign the title of the car over to me and I'll be on my way back, driving for the first time in almost a year. I think I have everything together. I did the driving class, I did the intervention interview, my suspension times have passed, I have the SR-22, and the insurance is paid for. I'm just worried that something is missing and Dad will be driving me back leaving me another week without my license. Wish me luck. I'm going to need it. On another note, Janine and I last Saturday went to the big tattoo convention here in town and I wanted to give links of some of the artists that came. Some of them do amazing work, and it's worth looking at. Shane O'Neill Christopher Gay Jerry, Jason, and Jay

Thaw the Bird!

Yeah, it's that time of year again. Tomorrow morning I'll be rising before the sun to head to Maryland to celebrate Thanksgiving. I'm then taking care of some business at my parents' house. But the main event will be the drive home from Warsaw because I will be driving! Yay! I do look forward to tomorrow night. It means a lot to my heart to have one last Thanksgiving at Janine's grandmothers house. I look forward to starting our own Thanksgiving traditions over the next several years. I remember growing up, my mom would always make a huge spread including the turkey, the mashed potatoes, the sweet potatoes, oh my God, the sweet potatoes, the corn pudding, the rolls, the deviled eggs, the stuffing, and lots of water to wash it all down. It was one of 2 days that we all shared as a family all year outside of Christmas. My parents ran a small convienience store in Warsaw, and they were always either at their prospective jobs or working in the store. I guess if there...

Brrr!

It's friggen cold outside! And as luck would have it, my cat pissed all over my one coat. Lovely. So I have to go home tonite to wash that lovely smell off my warmness. Janine and I are going to have chinese for dinner, yay! I'm thinking....something along the lines of shrimp fried rice, we shall see. It's always a rough decision because I've eaten so much sweet and sour chicken I think I'm going to turn into a sweet and sour..cat. Anyways, more on the cats. Janine let Fred in the other day, so he has gotten accustomed to our warm comfortable digs. The other cats are not amused. I think that's why Topaz went tinkle on my jacket. I'm just going to have to keep my coat in the closet. Novel concept, I know. I love having the radio station on while I'm working. I am worried about my playlist though. I'm convinced Jessi's boyfriend loaded up some AFI on her iPod which transferred to my hard drive. I just, yuck. I don't listen to that emo mess, at ...

My EQ

Your EQ is 120 50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick! 51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese. 71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely. 91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that. 111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt. 131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin. 150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar. What's Your EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient)?
